Aims & Objectives of the Home
- Identify children with disabilities in the community through outreach programs,
partnerships with schools and healthcare providers. Develop assessments and
support plans tailored to each child's unique needs and abilities.
- Provide inclusive educational opportunities for children with disabilities, from
early intervention services to primary, secondary and vocational training.
Ensure schools are equipped with trained staff, accessible facilities and
individualized academic plans.
- Offer vocational training programs that provide children with disabilities the
skills necessary to gain meaningful employment. Partner with businesses to place
trainees into jobs suited to their strengths.
- Construct and maintain accessible residential facilities to house children with
severe disabilities who require round-the-clock care. Staff residences with
trained personnel and therapists to assist with medical, mobility and behavioral
needs.
- Promote the integration of children with disabilities into mainstream
classrooms, recreational activities and community events. Work to end stigma and
educate the public on embracing inclusiveness.
- Raise funds through outreach to public and private organizations for donations
and grants. Allocate funding towards specialized equipment, therapies, staff
training and other support services.
- Strive to improve quality of life for children with disabilities through early
intervention, education, enrichment activities, job training, health services
and community inclusion.
- Partner with government agencies, NGOs, healthcare providers, vocational rehab
organizations and other stakeholders to develop collaborative programs and
coordinate efforts.
- Offer financial assistance, academic scholarships, medical care and other
targeted services to underprivileged children with disabilities based on
individual needs.
- Educate all children on the rights and responsibilities of those with
disabilities to foster acceptance and empowerment.
- Provide workshops on life skills, vocational skills and utilization of assistive
technologies. Ensure children with disabilities can live as independently as
possible.
